Self-drive directions to Lion’s Head: Drive from Cape Town central up Kloof Nek Road towards Camps Bay. Reach the Signal Hill Road turn off, Turn right onto Signal Hill Road, continue for 100 meters. Lion’s Head parking will be on your right. There will be a sign on the left, written Friends of Lion’s Head and the official SANParks notice. The easiest way to self-drive is to use these Lion’s Head directions and ride with Uber using Google Map.

Self-drive directions to Table Mountain: From Cape Town, go towards Kloof Nek Road in the direction of Clifton. Reach the Tafelberg Road turn off, turn left on Tafelberg Road and continue for around 1 km. Lower Cablecar Station will be on your right. The official SANParks notice will signal the start of the India Venster trail or continue 1.5 km further along Tafelberg Road to Reach the Platteklip Gorge starting point.
